Disappointing end to the season for our Under 14 team

The team needed a win to clinch the trophy for the first time since, but were denied when the course was closed after the morning foursomes. This left us just half a point behind Dorset, a frustrating finish for what had been a very successful season.

Tam Manager Geoff Collard said 

"I have nothing but admiration for both sides with a constant stream of water running down the grips and over their faces the wind howling at 25 mph yet the lads still had smiles and still buoyant.

Ian and myself were convinced our boys would of done well in the singles but wasn’t to be. The whole squad should be congratulated for a terrific season and with the u12’s coming up the ranks the future looks good for Somerset."
