Joshua Higgs wins Under 14 Championship at Isle of Wedmore Golf Club
Joshua Higgs of Farrington won a hotly contested championship after two of the favourites failed to live up to their undoubted ability. With a stunning 75 net 63 Joshua was 3 shots ahead of pre championship favourites Taylor Stote of Burnham & Berrow and Jack Partridge of Worlebury. Sean Gray of Isle of Wedmore shot the lowest nett score of the day with a nett 60. Brian Evans, the Somerset Golf Union President presented the prizes to the winners.
