“Development Deliver”

 A pleasing performance from the team delivered a 7 - 5 victory over Gloucester at a very welcoming Filton Golf Club. Our thanks and congratulations to all concerned at Filton for hosting us so well for the day and all the Gloucester representatives for their sporting approach to the day.

 The morning Foursomes were won 2.5 - 1.5 with victory’s for Winn/Freeman, Parkman/Martin and a half for Lloyd/Adams following a remarkable recovery shot by Lloyd.

 The afternoon singles were a tight affair with most matches closely fought and the balance swinging throughout, it resulted in a 4.5 - 3.5 win, with points or half’s achieved by Parkman, Lloyd, Martin, Winn, Ward. A good start by the team and yet plenty to be worked on by the lads who featured for this fixture.
