Succesful week for Team Somerset comes to an end at Cumberwell Park

 The team overcame a very determined Wiltshire side 7.5-6.5 to claim the Matchplay Shield with a 100% record. On Tuesday, Tom Sloman became the South Western Amateur Strokeplay Champion with two consecutive rounds of 65.

The Clifford Burden Trophy for the player with most points in the matchplay competition was won by Phil White with ten win from ten games - an outstanding performance!
