SGU AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Somerset Golf Union was held at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club on Wednesday 25th February 2026.

The highlights were:

• Tony Mason and Tommy Tulk come off the Executive Committee having completed their time in office.
• Curtis Edwards succeeds Mark Wait as County Captain.
• Tony Mason succeeds Rob Davis as England Golf Voting Member.
• Constitutional amendments were adopted.
• Subscription fees are unchanged.
• Clubs are encouraged to apply for SGU Special Projects funding.
• Website and media enhancements planned.
