2018 Competition

Well, that is the end on the Under 14 Mini Tour for 2018. First of all, very many thanks to all of the Clubs who hosted events this year. We hope that you enjoyed having these aspiring young golfers at your Club, enjoying your course and hospitality. Thanks also to the parents and supporters of the competitors, and of course our sponsors, Chinny Dipper and the Golf Foundation for you support with the prizes. Finally, and most importantly, the players! We hope that you enjoyed the competition, and for those who will be eligible, we look forward to seeing you next year. For those who are moving on, either by way of age or handicap progression, we wish you every success in life - both on and off the course.. The leading scores, taken from the best 3 out of a potential 5, are shown below.

Over the coming weeks we shall be reviewing the competition to see if we can find ways to make any improvements to the structure. We feel we are striking the right balance in focussing on the aspiring golfer making their way to competitions over 18 holes with a full CONGU handicap, but we want to make sure that the competition remains fun and fair to all players.

Our thanks go also to ChinnyDipper for their continued sponsorship of the prizes for the competition. Please click on the logo below to visit their website and see the great range of chidrens golf clothing and accessories.
