55 years of age or over on the day of the of the competition. The rules of Golf laid down by the R&A and the County General Rules of competition apply. Clubs may enter teams of 4 who will compete for the Team Championship, best 3 from 4. In the event of tie the 4th score will be counted. Team members will also be entered into the individual event. There will be age group winners also. If clubs can notify the county secretary in advance the names of the team(s) members, please by email at secretary@somersetgolfunion.co.uk and wherever possible provide the individual email addresses of each so that the start sheet can be forwarded. The start sheet will be posted on the SGU website
