Somerset travelled to Tehidy Park to take on Cornwall and returned with a convincing 10-5 victory. The morning foursomes went our way where we were undefeated in the 5 matches, taking the session by 4 points to 1. Matt Turner 7 Jonny Grace had to battle back from dormie 2 down to secure their half.

This meant that we needed 4 points from the afternoon singles to secure the away win. Jamie Clare and Phil White took the first 2 points on offer, but the home side threatened to make a comeback with 2 wins and a half in quick succession. The Somerset ship was steadied with wins from Tom Sloman, Taylor Stote and Jonny Grace taking us over the finishing line.
