Yet again, the Foursomes put us behind the ‘eight ball’ and so made the match result in our favour very difficult. In the singles the lads fought well to halve the afternoon 4 each. Miles Richardson did well to take Tom Plumb down the last. Josh Higgs and Jordan Vaughan did not have a good day. Again it was the later players who fought for the team as did Jack Partridge. 3 good wins by Louis Archer, Jake Bovington and Matt Ison, who remains unbeaten in singles. Tom Buckley got a good half having been 1 down going down the last. Overall a good result, we’re getting better and our first win is due soon. Team spirit is tremendous with Josh Higgs [Captain] encouraging all the players, despite his poor form, abley assisted by Louis Archer [Vice Captain].
