Match Report: Whether it’s football or golf, the Welsh are on a high at the moment. They were a very good side and played good golf, limiting our lads to just 2 points. The morning round finished with a hole in one by the Welsh to secure a half on the last in match number 3, it was that sort of day. In the afternoon the Somerset lads showed grit and determination but were always up against it. They gave 100% which is all you can ask and they should be proud of their efforts. A great win of 5&4 by Alfie Jubb  in the last match stopped it being a ‘red wash’ in the singles. Well done lads and thank you to Tall Pines G.C. for a great course and superb hospitality.
