The 2019 Wimborne Cup was won by a player who had never played the course before. Craig Adams shot a fine 68 in the morning, followed that up with a 73 for a combined total of 141. Winning by one shot from Alex Christine Basildon GC.

Parkstone will host this years South West Week beginning Sunday 9th June and to provide potential team members the opportunity to play Parkstone in Championship conditions the SDGU had entered 9 squad members in to the prestigious event. Valuable time spent on the course and experience which will take the County to South West Week in good spirits where they defend the team matchplay and seek to qualify for the National finals.
