Final Table at South West Week

Finishing runners up in the 36 hole English Counties National Qualification behind Gloucestershire and holding Gloucestershire in the match play. Lost two matches by half a point, taking Wiltshire to the last green in all four pm Foursomes without bringing home the result and a bad day on the links against Devon! With a little luck and more experience the final table may have looked very different! Captained by Mark Wait,  the team spirit was strong as we kept going to the very end of a very long and hot week when others may have called it a day and capitulated against Cornwall. 

Burnham & Berrow showcased golf in Somerset, the course was outstanding, the in house management was outstanding and everyone involved in South West Week 2021 will hold fond memories for a very long time. On behalf of the Somerset Golf Union, thank you Burnham & Berrow members, management and all staff for allowing South West Week to be played at your course and for hosting the event to the very highest of standards.
