Great result for Somerset Under 12's

Our under 12 futures squad turned in a great display of golf and team spirit to win 3-1 against Gloucestershire today.

Finley and Peter enjoyed a tense tussle before winning 2&1

Owen and Zane really clicked as a partnership and won 4&2 but Gloucestershire made them sweat by draining one on 15 to keep the match alive. They were then unlucky on 16 when a pressure putt horseshoed out clinching our win

Bertie and Henry kept battling away going 2 down after 3 before clawing it back, then the same situation after 10 but our boys clawed it back again . There wa a purple patch from Gloucestershire that took them 3 ahead and the boys could not recover this time Loss 4&2

Theo Jones and Theo Laney won their match on the 15th despite giving 16 shots!

A very good day all round good golf from both sides played in good spirit. The Club looked after us very well
